The Backbox provides additional control over your sound, allowing you to boost volume and shape your tone. However, the limited power and tone variety may be a drawback for some players. Ultimately, whether this setup is right for you depends on your specific needs and preferences as a guitarist.
Recommendation:If you are a beginner or someone looking for a compact, affordable setup for practice or small gigs, the SV20C with Backbox is a solid choice. However, if you need more power or tone variety, you may want to consider a different setup that better meets your needs.
A Celestial V10 speaker which stays tight at any volume level. Up for offer is my Marshall Studio Vintage Combo SV20C MK II also know as the Super Lead/Plexus. I am including the JHS Little Black Box master volume that goes into effects loop of this amp. Comes with power switching from 20- watts down to 5- watts but make the volume even more controllable including bedroom playing.
There are two small cosmetic flaws. Perfect passive volume control without the sucking of power and tone. Just a beautiful looking and sounding especially when jumping the two channels. I don't use an overdrive pedal with this just reverb and delay.
A DI out is included on the back panel for direct to board along with outputs extension speakers. This is handmade in England and sells new for $1949.99. I am a strait player and just love the Bluesy Iconic Plexus tone breakup.
