Review GIBSON Rvt Invader Mint

Introducing the Gibson GA-30 1963 RVT Invader, a vintage guitar amplifier that embodies the classic sound and style of the past. This amp is a faithful recreation of the original GA-30 models produced between 1962 and 1964. The RVT Invader moniker refers to the reissue version of this iconic amplifier.

The Gibson GA-30 1963 RVT Invader boasts a traditional design with a distinctive tan basket weave tolex covering, gold aluminum grid cloth, and a black control panel. The amplifier's front panel houses a total of six inputs, three per channel, allowing it to accommodate multiple instruments or microphones.

Each channel offers a volume control, treble, middle, and bass tone controls, giving players the flexibility to shape their sound. The amp also features a shared presence control, which adds brightness to the overall tone when turned clockwise.

The Gibson GA-30 1963 RVT Invader is equipped with two 6V6 power tubes and four 12AX7 preamp tubes, delivering a total power output of 30 watts. The amp's tube-driven circuitry provides a warm, rich tone with impressive headroom, making it ideal for various playing styles and genres.

The back panel offers a single 8-ohm speaker output, a pilot light, and a fuse holder. The amp also comes with a custom-designed 12-inch Celestion speaker, which further enhances the tonal characteristics of this amplifier.

Measuring 22 inches (W) x 10 inches (H) x 11 inches (D), and weighing approximately 24 pounds, the Gibson GA-30 1963 RVT Invader is a compact yet powerful amplifier suitable for both studio and live performances. Its vintage appearance and authentic sound make it a desirable addition for any guitarist seeking an authentic, retro amplifier experience.

4. Build Quality: Gibson is known for its high-quality craftsmanship, and the GA-30 RVT Invader is no exception. The amp is built to last, with durable components and a solid construction.

Cons:

1. Limited Power: With only 30 watts of power, the GA-30 RVT Invader may not be suitable for players who require a louder amplifier for larger venues or band practice.

2. Limited Features: Compared to modern amplifiers, the GA-30 RVT Invader has fewer features, such as no reverb or effects loops. This may be a drawback for players who prefer a more customizable sound.

3. Price: As a vintage-style amplifier from a reputable brand like Gibson, the GA-30 RVT Invader comes with a higher price tag than some other options on the market.
