Review EPIPHONE By Gibson Galaxie Tubevintage Early 1960s

The Epiphone EA-33RVT Gibson Galaxie TubeVintage 1960s Tube Amp is a masterpiece of vintage sound and design, meticulously crafted to capture the essence of the golden era of guitar amplification.

At its core, this amp is powered by two 12AX7 preamp tubes and two 6L6 power tubes, delivering a rich, harmonically complex tone that is reminiscent of the iconic amps of the 1960s. The 12AX7 preamp tubes provide a smooth, warm sound with plenty of depth and character, while the 6L6 power tubes deliver the power and punch that is essential for crunchy, overdriven tones.

The Epiphone EA-33RVT features a classic 3-channel design, with separate controls for clean, overdrive, and lead channels. This allows musicians to easily dial in the perfect tone for any situation, from clean and crisp to searingly hot and distorted. The overdrive channel in particular is a standout feature, providing a warm, saturated tone that is perfect for blues, rock, and classic rock styles.

The amp's cabinet is constructed from high-quality plywood and covered in a vintage-style tolex, with a gold-tone grille cloth and chrome control knobs. The front panel is adorned with retro-style graphics that pay homage to the original Gibson Galaxie, while the back panel features two 8-ohm speaker outputs and a vintage-style headphone jack.

In terms of connectivity, the Epiphone EA-33RVT features a high-impedance input for use with humbucker pickups, as well as a low-impedance input for use with single-coil pickups. It also includes a pair of Jensen P12N speakers, which provide a balanced and articulate tone that is perfect for both live performances and studio recording.

Overall, the Epiphone EA-33RVT Gibson Galaxie TubeVintage 1960s Tube Amp is a must-have for any guitarist who is looking to add some classic, vintage tone to their rig. With its powerful tube circuitry, versatile 3-channel design, and high-quality construction, this amp is sure to become a beloved addition to any player's collection.

Details:

I have too many amps and need to make room. Tremolo and reverb are both awesome unique sounding. The original power cable has been replaced by a grounded. It as all its original transformers.

Comes with a new custom-made cover. The tone-suck cap has been removed. This amplifier has a wonderful tone, with warm sparkle at low volume and full-out, raunchy overdrive high. This is a vintage EA-33RVT Epiphone Galaxie tube from the early 1960s.

The SWAT Atomic Space Tone is based on this amp. The original wiring has been secured all around with very high quality work. The reverb tank has been replaced. Its been recapped.

This thing sounds amazing. You're not going to get a better vintage tube sound at anywhere near this price. Its the same as a Gibson Scout but with an Epiphone badge. The speaker has been replaced with a reissue Henson along P10R 10-inch.
