Replaced rubber rotted 3 prong power cord with updated wiring removing death cap and converting to modern safety standard. Specs from Original Fender Catalog: 40 watts RMS Power with 88- watts peak music power for strong, positive amplification. Accessories: Remote foot switch for reverb and vibrato, Rolex Cover.

This has been fully serviced: Full electrolytic recap. Fabricated a new back panel that covers the tubes to replace missing. Aside from those notes, this has a very lively reverb tank, that could be replaced with something tamer but been left for originality. Authentic built-in reverb and vibrato.

Rebuilt the bias board that had drifted from specification with flame proof components. Rectifier Tube. The original back cover was lost to time, so we fabricated a new backing. Replaced artificial tap resistors with flame proof versions.

As pictured, the amps chromed parts have a nice patina while Rolex and grille cloth managed to escape any unseemly damage except for one small hole next Fender logo. Replaced cathode bypass resistors with flame proof. Replaced grid stopper resistors that had drifted. Thanks to the services below this is in excellent working condition, ready for another 50 years of gigging.

Replaced faulty reverb driver transformer. Modified the bias circuit to be adjustable fixed balance. This Silverface amplifier delivers the classic Fender tone with reverb and vibrato in a 2X10 40-watt combo package, making for an that sparkles clean, breaks up creamy saturation at higher volumes. Replaced faulty vibrato optical.

This unit includes foot switch and the original Rolex cover, although cover has torn shrunk, no longer able to fit over amp. Replaced faulty foot switch cable. Full JJ tube re tube.
