This is the highly sought after Fender Bassman Tuxedo with 6G6C circuit. The 6G6C circuit was short lived and is the last one to feature a Presence control which perfect for adding some extra sparkle your tone. This model features black panel aesthetics with white knobs, hence the Tuxedo nickname. This was a transitional model between the brown panel/blonde Rolex and black panel/black version.

The functions great as is and sounds wonderful. See pictures. Therefore, the may not perform as it should long term and chance of damage to critical components is increased. It is cleaner, louder, and warmer in tone.

But, the tube chart is for AB165 circuit no presence control and has a 1966 date code stamp. Also, the Bass channel is quite usable as compared to other Bassman versions. Note, the output transformer, power choke, chassis and electronics all date to 1963 or 1964. The is in almost original condition as far I can tell with only one replaced bias cap and a three prong plug.

The tubes are all vintage.
