This genuine vintage Brown Panel era Princeton features a very original 6G2-A circuit. Theres a bit of light staining and scuffing on the edges enclosure, patina original handle caps chassis straps. The face plate is very clean, retaining the original brown barrel knobs. The original Stockpile pots are intact, with visible date codes from the 43rd week of '61.

The Princeton has a tone that is very dynamic and warm, with crystalline clean tones giving way to rich, saturated overdrive when turning up the Volume knob. The bias based tremolo circuit has a strong, dimensional pulse and particularly broad range of speeds too. The circuit retains the original pair of Stomacher transformers which date to 39th power and 46th output weeks '61, preamps all blue molded Ajax tone caps, have a particularly sweet, musical tonal character. The circuit is as pure and straightforward they come, the single Tone knob has a surprisingly wide range.
