Stock, this is very similar to a Fender Champ, although with much less gain and darker voicing. The tone control is very interactive with the gain as well. The is quiet in operation with little hum. It has been updated to a 3 prong power cable, and the circuit gone through slightly modified.

The circuit has been gone through and updated to be much closer a Fender 5F1 champ, which gives this little guy ton of very usable gain on tap, coupled with the tone control makes it versatile, going from nice clean throaty distortion when pushed. This little is an awesome studio and home. These Valco amps are a great value, and this one is well made with light wood en cabinet should be rock solid for years to come. Includes original parts.

The tubes are all original and so is the speaker.
