Right now, its super stiff as it came from the factory, and had less than maybe an hour of play-time on. On a Tweed 5E3, it is so loud at just 3-4 on the volume knob with tons of clean headroom.

This speaker probably needs a few hundred hours to really let the lows fully produce. Flipped the other way reverse polarity, tone is smoother and more subdued - this where you get very nice warble overdrive without edge, it also feels effortless. It plays the 7-10 volume area faithfully, but still loud. That doesn't mean the speaker lacks bottom end; it does has a more resonant efficiency in mid bass though.
