This whole new scope of sounds that are only possible with a three-pickup guitar easily accessible in the Studio model thanks to push/pull tone control and 5-way blade switch. McCarty pickups were first introduced in the 1990 's, and while there never named II, PRS considers these third iteration of one most popular pickup model's past.

Metronome Music is a proud Paul Reed Smith Dealer. Instead the maple 10-TOP is paired with an ash body giving this a big, resonant sound. With seven combinations in all, the PRS Studio covers classic tones but maintains a unique voice making it perfect desert island guitar.
